Prices
Prices can consist of various components including: Heating and electricity costs, bedding, cleaning...
We have included these into the weekly cost except where costs are per usage e.g. heating (not generally an issue except in winter).
Since some prices are per visit, e.g. cleaning, or per visitor, e.g. bedding, prices can be less if two (or more) weeks are booked, or a house is not fully occupied. Please enquire for details.
All prices are quoted in Euros.

General info
Bookings can only be reserved on payment of a non-refundable deposit of approx 35% (can vary by property). The remainder is to be paid on arrival to the owner in Tuscany. rare-tuscany.co.uk is acting as an agent on behalf of the owners. Your contract is with the owner. In case of cancellation the owner is entitled to recovery of the following sums. Less than 45 days before the beginning date: 50% of rent. Less than 30 days before the beginning date: 80% of rent. We advise you to take out travel insurance to cover these costs in case of cancellation due to unforeseen circumstances.

Heating
Heating oil is much more expensive in Italy than here, it costs the same as petrol, but is also rarely needed outside of mid-winter. Virtually every house charges separately because of this, generally around €15 per day. Please therefore think twice before turning it on. And certainly we advise against using it outside of winter just for a little extra comfort.
